Who are we?

Provides on going advocacy beginning after a domestic or sexual assault and continuing throughout the court proceedings with follow-up support as needed. Offers 24 hour crisis intervention. Strives to bring about a change in attitude, urging zero tolerance for violence and abuse in our homes and community; to assist clients and service providers in preventing unacceptable behavior prior to its escalation into abusive and violent actions; and to intervene when violence occurs through services designed for victims. The Coordinator assists the victim and members of the household as a court advocate, including consultations with District Attorney, access to community resources such as shelter for victims and their family, assault follow-up with photographs of evidence for prosecution.
