Who are we?
- APPP community based teen pregnancy prevention projects throughout the state. Projects focus on preventing first and subsequent pregnancies among teens. A variety of strategies are used to prevent adolescent pregnancy, including abstinence and life skills education, youth development, parent workshops, counseling and referral, community awareness efforts, male involvement, and support services for teen parents. Projects are located in agencies such as health departments, schools, local councils on adolescent health, teen health clinics, churches, and other non profit agencies.
